A marketing authorisation granted through the EU centralised procedure is valid in every member state and in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. So the rows below apply in Iceland, and they are not a claim about Iceland's own law.

They are also not the whole picture. Iceland grants national marketing authorisations through its own agency, and that register is not connected to this index. A medicine authorised only nationally in Iceland does not appear on this site at all. Absence here means absent from the EU central register, and nothing more.
